Translation Research Building at Huntsman Mental Health Institute

Translational Research Building at Huntsman Mental Health Institute

This stunning facility will serve as the mental health research hub of the United States, providing an integrated approach to accelerate the translation of basic research into real, life-changing and life-saving treatments. Bringing experts from fields including science, law, technology, big data, AI, genetics, and policy together will allow HMHI to holistically tackle a wide spectrum of mental health conditions and neurodevelopmental disorders. HMHI will grow its ability to not only respond to current health crises but pave the way to a new era where mental health care is better understood, more effective, and more accessible.

The Kem & Carolyn Gardner Crisis Care Center

The Kem & Carolyn Gardner Crisis Care Center

The first of its kind in the world, the Kem & Carolyn Gardner Crisis Care Center provides individualized care for mental health crises, focusing on de-escalation, stabilization and connection to resources. Thanks to generous donations, it will be the first center in the nation to integrate community services, training, and research with crisis care, and offer immediate support while reducing strain on emergency rooms.

03 — Community Connections
